Good Shepherd
is part of the Synod of Alberta and the Territories, one of five synods which make up the ELCiC (Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada), consisting of about 600 congregations.  The ELCiC in turn is part of the Lutheran World Federation, with 58 million people.

Canadian Lutheran World Relief (www.clwr.org) is the arm of our church that works nationally and internationally to address issues of poverty, develpment, emergency disaster relief and refugee resettlement.
